1982 Final Four Bench Chair - NCAA® Vault Collection
College Vault Collection: Step back in time to the 1982 Final Four with the official logo team bench chair. The tournament took place in New Orleans, Louisiana with competing teams Houston Cougars, Louisville Cardinals, Georgetown Hoyas, and North Carolina Tar Heels. Tar Heels won their second championship title against the Georgetown Hoyas with a 63-62 victory.
This was the only NCAA Championship game to have three players who would be named in the NBA 50 Greatest Players. Legends Patrick Ewing, James Worthy, and non-other than Michael Jordan himself were given this honor in 1996.
